Hallie Jackson is she is an American political journalist and analyst. Currently she's an analyst and White House reporter for NBC News. Furthermore, Hallie is an anchor on several news programs which air on MSNBC. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania, United States. Her bachelor's degree is in Political Science from John Hopkins University. Jackson was employed for a couple of years in Delaware, Maryland and Connecticut with the CBS affiliated TV stations WBOC & WFSB. She then was hired by Hearst Corporation in Washington DC and was in charge of all 26 of their stations across the United States. Jackson then joined NBC News in 2014 and worked for a period of one year at The NBC Los Angeles station. The quality of her reporting on various campaigning campaigns, like the Presidential election of 2016, earned her the reputation as a committed journalist. The media has praised her for her versatility and hard work. Among her most important assignments were exclusive interviews, as well as the coverage of Ted Cruz's presidential race. Jackson became NBC's chief White House reporter in 2017. She's married to Douglas Hitchner. They have two daughters.
